~ The Shadow Rangers Characters and Background ~
The world where The Shadow Rangers comic is set in is one that magically touches all other worlds and dimensions/planes. This means that the easiest way to get from one dimension to another is through this world, since the planar fabric is very thin between this world and everywhere else. Because of this, and the world's past history of devastating conflicts that have affected the equilibrium of many other worlds, a Council has arisen formed of representatives from any world that is sophisticated enough to have a voice. This Council strives to keep the balance between all worlds by upholding a strict code of conduct on this "bridge world". The Shadow Rangers are the main policing force directed by The Council to uphold the peace.

~~~ Following are the five main characters of The Shadow Rangers team: ~~~
	Ki-rin Feratu is the leader of the Shadow Rangers, a Mind Mage with a strong will and good head for tactics. She hides a dark past, from when she was the enemy others fought. She now has pledged her life to keeping the balance (though she still has a cruel streak and likes to play with her enemies). ^_^ Ki-rin has black hair, purple eyes, pale skin, and is about 5'7". Her color is purple.
	Marla Karkadam is a member of the Shadow Rangers, a powerful Mage and Healer. Her father was a unicorn and her mother a powerful human sorceress, which made her a half-unicorn shapeshifter. She is tempermental, quiet and moody, but loyal to a fault to those she can call friend. Marla has blond hair, dark eyes, lavendar skin, and is about 4'11". Her color is green.
	Trebor Ishikawa is a member of the Shadow Rangers, a master Shao-lin martial artist, he also has studied the skills of the ninja as well as many differing martial arts. He considers himself a ronin samurai, because of his vow to never serve a master but to uphold his duty to Honor and Right. He was adopted by a human japanese family, as he was found on their doorstep with no notes to his origin. He is infatuated with new technology, and is the youngest of the Shadow Rangers. Trebor has brown hair, amber eyes, fair skin, and is about 5'10". His color is amber.
	Damae is a member of the Shadow Rangers, a Fligitaur bard/swashbuckler/rogue. She has many talents; she can speak almost any language, specializes in small peircing weapons, has song magic, and is very useful as a scout because of her ability to fly and her amazingly agility. She hates anything to do with technology, and dislikes the trend away from magic that is currently going on in her world. Damae has red hair, green eyes, fair skin, and is anywhere between 5'3" and 6'3". Her color is red.
	Nomyr is a member of the Shadow Rangers, a Centaur warrior; fast, brave, and strong. He has a huge broadsword and is an excellent archer. In extreme cases he turns into a berzerker, capable of chopping through mountains. He pretends to be stoic, rough, and proud, but inside is just a cuddly teddy bear. ~_~;; Nomyr has auburn hair, brown eyes, tanned skin, chestnut pinto coloring, and is about 6'7". His color is brown.

	Talax Tir is a Demon Mage and Necromancer of the 8th Circle, a powerful mysterious ruthless and anarchistic force behind some recent events the Shadow Rangers have been called in to investigate. Little is known about him yet, though he seems to be an enemy. ^_^ Talax has blond hair, green eyes, pale skin, and is about 5'9". His color is green.
